SGWC is excited to announce it will be offering virtual sessions to participants beginning March 14. Please see the news page for further information.
March 11, 2020
Following the confirmation of two COVID-19 cases in the State of Michigan last night (3/10), Michigan State University is cancelling all face-to-face programs and events out of an abundance of caution through April 20th. Unfortunately, this includes Spartan Girls Who Code.
We are currently evaluating our options to offer remote sessions or alternative instructional methods, and will notify parents as further information becomes available.

Senior Club Final Project Interest Form
Eligibility
Open to all students, Grades 6-12. Registration for this spring is closed. Please leave your contact information via our Interest form to receive notification when registration opens for next spring.
Club Meetings
Saturdays 10am-noon, January 11 - April 18, with the exception of February 29, March 7 & 28, and April 4 & 11 (no meetings on these five Saturdays), for a total of 10 meetings. (These dates are tentative; precise dates are subject to change until December.) Our final meeting will be April 18, where coders will present their impact projects. Family members are invited to attend the April 18 meeting.
Meeting Location
Engineering Building, 428 S. Shaw Lane, Rooms 3320 and 3353, on the 3rd Floor, hallway that runs alongside S. Shaw.

Attendance
All coders are expected to attend at least 8 of the 10 club meetings. Coders are allowed to miss 2 club meetings.
Cost
All instruction and software is provided free of charge.
Cancellations
If we need to cancel a club meeting (due to weather, etc.), we will notify parents via email, Remind, and a banner across all pages on our website.
