A nine week series for those curious about coding. Design and implement a project in Python. Learn fundamentals of coding, make new friends, and have tons of fun!

Saturdays, Sep. 28−Nov. 23 • 10:00 a.m.−noon at the Downtown Lansing Branch of Capital Area District Libraries, 401 South Capitol Avenue Lansing, Michigan 48933.
Attendance
By registering, you are committing to attend the entire nine-lesson series. To be eligible for a certificate of completion and prizes, coders may not miss more than two Saturdays.
In the event that a club meeting is cancelled (due to weather, instructor illness, etc), we will send a notice to the contact email address provided at registration and post a notice in the news by 8:00 a.m. of the affected Saturday. We recommend that you check the news before you start out for class in the morning.
Registration
Open to all in Grades 6-12. Registration will open in June or July and be accepted through August 16. If the number of registrations exceeds capacity, priority will be given to Lansing residents and those attending Lansing schools, with a lottery used to break ties. All who register by August 16 will be notified by August 23 if there is space or not.

Cost
Instruction and software are provided free of charge, along with use of a laptop during meetings. Downtown street parking is free on weekends.
